Waypoints

The places we think are worth finding.

Not a directory, not a paid list, and not comprehensive on purpose. Just 2 Waypoints so far, the people and businesses that feel like Northwest Arkansas to me. Looking for a complete list of local spots instead? Check out Local Favorites.

These aren't sponsored spots. I haven't taken anything to feature them, and I won't. This is just a running list of places that genuinely fit the way I think about life here: outdoorsy, unpretentious, community-first. It'll grow slowly, on purpose.

Vagabond Coffee Bar

Iced coffee from Vagabond Coffee Bar held up in front of the Bella Vista Trails map

A coffee cart parked right at the Tanyard Creek Nature Trail trailhead, which is exactly the kind of detail that makes it feel like it belongs here. Craft espresso drinks, organic ingredients, and the kind of welcoming energy that makes you want to linger after a hike instead of rushing off. Open Wednesday through Sunday, and worth timing a trail walk around.

Ride & ExploreBentonville

Buddy Pegs

A family-run bike shop right on the Bentonville greenway, built around a simple mission: get more kids on bikes. Beyond selling and renting bikes for every age, they run kids' classes and camps across the region and have quietly become a real fixture of the local cycling community. If you're moving here with kids and want them to fall in love with riding, this is where to start.
